Queen's 70th Jubilee

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Millbank Field on the 2nd June was a great success.

Thanks to everyone that attended this bring and share party.

Also a big thanks to the organisers and entertainment for making this a day to remember.

Jubilee Party - Photos

Even though this was not a specific fundraising event for the hub. Thanks to Vicky for organising the tombola and Ann Price for selling the raffle tickets and pens, we raised £345 on the day.

Walking Treasure Hunt

It’s a shame that the weather didn’t hold out for the Jubilee Walking Treasure Hunt on the 5th June. But all things considered we still had a reasonable turnout.

The winners of this years event were Geoff and Lesley Wilding, who graciously donated their winnings to the hub.

This meant that a £126 was raised.

A big thanks to Eileen and Margaret for organising this years treasure hunt.
